With the evolution of the COVID-19 situation worldwide, and to help slow the spread of this virus, the Young Centre for the Performing Arts has made the decision to suspend public performances until further notice.

All tickets (link only & Friend of the Festival) are final sale, the Young Centre cannot issue refunds.

OCCUPANCY PROTOCOLS: Anyone entering the premise must comply with the following
- Prior to entry onsite everyone must complete and pass a health Results will be confidential but failure to pass will result in denied access.
- Entry and exit to the building is through the Main Young Centre doors only; (50 Tank House Lane, west side double doors) and must be cleared by building operations or otherwise preapproved prior to entry.
- Masks/face coverings are mandatory and must be worn upon entry into the building.
- Masks/face coverings must be worn at all times when physical distancing of 2 meters (6 feet) cannot be maintained. The Young Centre building operations will supply you with a mask if you do not have one at the point of entry or if throughout the day yours becomes soiled.
- Sanitize hands immediately upon entering the building using hand sanitizing stations located throughout the building OR by washing them with soap and water using the washrooms located in the lobby.
- No sharing of food will be permitted throughout the building. We encourage you to bring your own food and beverages and dispose of all containers and cutlery responsibly.
- Follow all relevant posted signage respecting new one-way passages, new room occupancy limits, etc.
- Limit your physical presence to only areas directly related to your onsite tasks to minimize exposure.
- Clean up after yourself and keep work areas neat to enable proper disinfecting between uses.
TICKETING PROTOCOLS
Single tickets are final sale, the Young Centre cannot issue refunds. Tickets can be exchanged for a different performance within the same production for a fee of $10 per tickets, subject to availability and with 24 hours notice.
Please note that all single ticket and subscription prices include a facility fee of $3.75 (+HST) and up to $5.00 (+HST) service charge.
There is a $2.00 fee for mailing tickets via Canada Post (Subscription Packages are exempt).
Each Student ticket purchased must be used by a student with valid student I.D.
If you need to exchange your tickets, please call the Box Office at least 24 hours in advance of your performance date. Tickets can be exchanged for an alternative performance within the same production for a fee of $10 per ticket, subject to availability.
The Young Centre reserves the right to refuse admission without refund and expel from the premises any person whose presence or conduct it deems objectionable.
The Young Centre reserves the right to provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket.

If your tickets are lost we will gladly arrange for a replacement. Simply bring Photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets to the Box Office at least 30 minutes prior to your performance.
Rush Ticket Policy
Rush tickets are available for some productions. Soulpepper and George Brown rush tickets are available to purchase at the Young Centre Box Office, 60 minutes prior to the performance. Subject to availability.
Group Discounts
Group discounts are available for some productions with a group of 10 or more. Please call the Box Office at 416.866.8666 for details.
Ticket Pickup
Please pick up your tickets at least 30 minutes prior to your performance, to give ample time to find parking, check your coat, and enjoy a beverage or snack in the Young Centre Atrium.
You will be required to provide proof of student or senior eligibility when you pick up your tickets. Acceptable forms of ID include driver's license, provincial identity card, passport, and international student identity card. Not all productions offer discounts at these levels.
Latecomers
Latecomers will not be seated until there is a suitable break in the program and, for some performances, may not be admitted.
Recording & Electronic Devices
The use of cameras, video cameras or sound-recording devices of any kind is prohibited. Any person using an unauthorized recording device will be required to surrender or erase any recordings, photographic or digital images and may be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued.
Smoking
The Young Centre for the Performing Arts is a smoke and vaping free environment.
Etiquette
In consideration of other patrons please consider the following:
- Avoid unwrapping candies and cough drops during the performance.
- Avoid talking, coughing, humming, rustling programmes during the performance.
- Remain in your seat until the performance has completely ended and the house lights have been turned on.
- Turn off all cellular phones, alarm watches and beepers. If a patron has an emergency and must be contacted during a performance, they should contact Patron Services for assistance before the performance.
We Share the Air - Go Scent Free
Please refrain from wearing any scented personal products whenever you are attending performances at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. Please keep in mind that our patrons’ and employees’ comfort and health can be compromised by the presence of scents in our environment that trigger the various symptoms associated with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.

Children Attending Shows at the Young Centre
Shows presented at the Young Centre contain mature subject matter, viewer discretion is advised. Please note that children under the age of 15 will not be admitted into the hall without an adult in attendance.
All people entering a theatre must have a ticket, regardless of age. If your child is under 24 months, please pick up a babe in arms ticket from the Will Call desk, or the Box Office.
