Varun Guru, a Canadian artist of Indian origin, excels in acting, singing, music composing, and screenwriting. His storytelling explores race, immigration, climate change, and intergenerational conflicts with a blend of comedy, science fiction, and magic realism. Trained at the Soulpepper Academy (2022), mentored by Philip Akin, Guru contributed to theatre productions like Mahabharata (Barbican, Shaw), Peggy Pickit, Axe AKA Akshay, King Lear (Soulpepper), and films including Keeper of the Cup, Look at ME, There's Nothing Else, Oh Deer. His impactful 20-year voiceover career encompasses projects with Hyper Scape (Ubisoft), Hyundai, Woodland, Adidas, and more.
