Derek Downham is an award-winning songwriter/producer. A formidable multi-instrumentalist, Derek has recorded and played live/toured with many of Canada's finest bands and artists. He has performed/recorded/written with (in no particular order): The Beauties, Gord Downie (of The Tragically Hip), Don Felder (of The Eagles), Broken Social Scene, Andy Kim, James Burton, Albert Lee, July Talk, Alex Lifeson (of Rush), Dan Hill, Serena Ryder, Sarah Slean, Nels Cline, Blue Rodeo, Whitehorse, Amos Garrett, Lori Yates, Julian Taylor, Ron Sexsmith and many, many more.
