Dirt

Soulpepper Academy

On Stage May 18, 2012
Tickets: $20*

Seven weeks of rehearsal. Eight Academy members. Over 75 bags of potting soil. The Soulpepper Academy of 2011/2012 has crafted a theatrical experience centred around dirt as both a provocation and an actual substance, filling the theatre with dirt, movement and sound. Through the use of contemporary urban stories, provocative and humorous movement pieces, and multimedia technology, the Academy digs deep into how dirt is ubiquitous, from grime under fingernails to dark, dirty secrets.

Seating is general admission in the Tank House Theatre.
