Looking for a special place to hold your meeting or celebration? The architecturally stunning award-winning spaces of the Young Centre are perfect for events ranging from product launches to weddings and bar mitzvahs.

All works performed at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts are curated and therefore undergo review by our Programming Staff for consideration as a Community Partner. If you are interested in the Young Centre for the production of artistic work (i.e. theatre production, concert, dance show, spoken word event), please submit a proposal including a description of the work, the bios of the key artists involved, as well as your preferred venue and dates.
Proposals for the 2010 calendar year must be submitted to Noora Sagarwala, Program Coordinator (noora@youngcentre.ca) by March 1, 2010. Notice to successful applicants will be provided by March 22, 2010.
Please note that there is limited available space at the Young Centre, and therefore we will be able to accept very few proposals for 2010.
For artistic work happening in 2011, the Community Partner proposal deadline will be September 1, 2010, with notification no later than October 1, 2010.

Your Wedding at the Young Centre
The favourite spaces for wedding ceremonies at the Young Centre are the Atrium, Cabaret and Artist Garden (seasonal).
With an elegant setting, exquisite food by the Young Centre preferred caterers, and fully licensed spaces, consider our contemporary, airy, and open facility for your special day.
Business Events
With theatres perfect for presentations and launches, complete with broadcast quality sound and digital projectors, the Atrium and Cabaret spaces are excellent for pre and post presentation receptions.
Conferences
With the Cabaret as a breakfast meeting space you can move into the classrooms and studios of the Young Centre – perfect for multiple event conferences, with performances spaces you can use as lecture or presentation halls and in house performing arts companies to keep delegates entertained at the end of the conference day.
